    Honor the industry partner whose contributions have positively affected Indiana Assisted Living Association members. This award may be presented to a company or an individual.

    OUTSTANDING ACTIVITY DIRECTOR

    Honor the individual who has shown innovation and creativity in the development of a program of activities.

    • Initiates on-going programs to meet the needs of the total resident population
    • Provides unique programs through various formats that recognize the multiple aspects of the individual’s well- being

    Honor the legislator who has shown exemplary service to the field of aging.

    • Acts as a voice within government for INALA and other aging services organizations

    Honor the marketing director who has shown outstanding leadership, innovation, and effectiveness

    • Treats each prospective resident and resident with dignity and respect
    • Shows leadership in managing a marketing program while maintaining high ethical standards
    • Provides exemplary guidance in directing cost-effective, efficient and successful marketing and public relations efforts
    • Demonstrates innovation in formulating new ideas
    • Helps to make the assisted living residence a valuable community asset 

     

    OUTSTANDING FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR

    Honor the Food Service Director that has shown innovation, and high quality while remaining in budget. 

    This employee:

    • Nurtures the spirit of each resident
    • Treats each resident with dignity and respect
    • Shows leadership in how they manage staff
    • Provides exemplary guidance in directing a cost-effective, efficient operation while maintaining high quality services
    • Demonstrates innovation in formulating new ideas for menu planning, preparation or service
    • Helps make the assisted living residence a valuable community asset

    INNOVATION OF THE YEAR

    Honor the community or individual who has shown outstanding vision, innovation and creativity through the development and implementation of an idea, design* or project that has benefited residents, staff, community or company. *Design can include building structure.

    • Provides exemplary guidance in developing and takes initiative-- implementing a creative, efficient and/or cost-effective idea while maintaining high quality standards

      Please Note:

      • INALA reserves the right to move a nomination to another category
      • INALA reserves the right to not present an award category
      • Winners will remain confidential until the Awards Luncheon at the Fall Conference (September 26-27, 2022). However, you will be notified in advance of the conference whether your nominee was selected or not.
      • INALA will not disclose the complete list of nominees, only the winners. If your nominee is not selected as a winner, INALA will not inform them that they were nominated.
