• Ohel Moed High Holidays 5783/2022

  • Following on from the success of the past 2 years, Ohel Moed is excited to announce our High Holiday (Yamim Noraim) services. This year we will have daytime services on both days of Rosh Hashanah - 26th & 27th September, and all services on Yom Kippur - 4th & 5th October. These services will be held in the Golders Green area, exact location will be confirmed nearer the time.

Ohel Moed is a peer led community and as such we would welcome help from the community to ensure smooth running of services. If you’re interested in helping, whether by lending a hand with logistics or by leading services, please indicate on the form below and we will be in touch with you.

Unfortunately we will not have Machzorim available to borrow at this year's and request that attendees bring their own to services. Our service can be followed in a nusach ashkenaz machzor such as Artscroll or Koren Sacks. If you don't already have one, they can be found at Jewish bookstores, alternatively you can buy them online at the links below (for example).

If you have any questions please be in touch with us via ohelmoed@masorti.org.uk

    Thanks, and see you soon!

  • Donation

We are a young and growing community and rely on financial contributions to offer High Holiday services, keep our regular services running, our venues booked and ensure our events are open and accessible. It currently costs around £7,000 a year for our community to function and offer the services we do.

We suggest a donation of £25 for Rosh Hashanah and £25 for Yom Kippur, or £20 for each if you're a member. If you are not attending all services, we suggest around £10 per service. Please consider adding a 'pay it forward' donation to ensure our services continue to remain financially accessible for those that need it.

Donations are being processed through Masorti Judaism, all proceeds will go into a specific pot for Ohel Moed.
