Shavuot: Nefesh + East Side Jews
Learn and Schmooze!
Join Nefesh and East Side Jews for a late night, Shavuot Learn and Schmooze on Saturday, June 4th. A night for the Torah obsessed, the Torah clueless, and everyone in between! Learn, nosh, and hang with us from 8pm until Midnight.
Our 5782 Saturday night Shavuot at the SIJCC is going to be musical, intellectual, cozy, and warm. Learn the Torah of LAND with Rabbincial student Sasha Perry, Tzitzit tying with artists Julie Weitz and Jill Spector, Judaism and abortion with Rabbis and activists, mind-expanding poetry with Leila Bilick, move your body with Amie Segal, inspiring music and prayer with Rabbi Susan and Nefesh musicians, and MUCH MORE!
YOU CAN EXPECT: Plenty of time to schmooze, ponder, learn, discuss, or just relax and make new friends.
Open bar with beer, wine, seltzer, bagels and other dairy noshes provided (gluten free and vegan options, too). Bring your favorite milk and honey-themed dessert to share!
