DCBX 2025 Performance Form

Welcome to the Official DCBX Performance Application. Thank you for your interest in performing at this year’s DCBX 17, August 14-18, 2025

DCBX selects talent in two manners: (1) By Talent Scout and contracting shows (2) By way of this Application to Perform and selected by our Selection Committee.

If you have a signed WRITTEN CONTRACT by a Talent Scout, you will have already received a contract from them pertaining to how many shows are expected. NO NEED TO APPLY for submission of those shows. However, if there are shows OUTSIDE of your contract like say TEAM SHOWS you'd like to submit, this would be the right place for you to do so!

Please take a moment to reach the guidelines for submitting your performances into this form.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

One director only per Team. Director who submits shall be the point of contact for correspondence between DCBX and their group.
APPROVAL PROCESS
It is the director’s responsibility to keep in contact with DCBX with any needs including roster of current team members, music uploading, etc.
All Performances must be under 2.5 minutes. No exceptions.
Performers must be able to able to perform Friday through Sunday. Please plan accordingly when booking travel and transfers. If you cannot perform on either days, please do not put in an application as spots are limited!
All selected performers must purchase a pass equivalent to a
|PERFORMER |FULL PASS or greater in order to perform. No exceptions. Night pass holders will not be allowed to perform.
Directors with 5 performing students or more will receive a complimentary performer pass.
Teams with 5 students will be able to perform 1 show. Teams with 10 or more students will be able to perform 2 or more shows at the discretion of our Artistic Director.

NEW FOR THIS YEAR

Each night DCBX will award $100 on stage to the Team that gets the loudest cheers & most votes. The nightly Spirit Award will receive a BENJAMIN!

APPROVAL PROCESS

STEP 1: Submit Application. One application is required for each performance.

STEP 2: Save support@dcbx.org in your address book for news!

STEP 3: Once approved, go to DCBachata.com/tickets. You will receive a special code that activates the PERFORMER PASS.

Prices will go up!
APRIL $125 + online fees
MAY $150 + online fees
June $180 + online fees
July $225 + online fees
Aug $250 + online fees

We encourage performers to purchase their passes early as prices go up as we near the event. The point of contact director from the team will receive a comped full pass if selected.
