  • Hi! My name is Kena Hightower. I am currently a stylist at Cortny + Co in Waco, Tx. I have been a licensed cosmetologist for a year and a half now. The first 6 months of having my license, all I did was assist someone else. I learned so much through this experience. After I moved onto the floor and started taking my own clients, I found I love doing dimensional brunettes, and of course my blondies!   • CANCELLATION POLICY

    If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason, you must let me know 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you fail to notify me within the 24 hour time period, a $50 cancellation fee will need to be paid before you can book another appointment with me. I have this policy in place to protect my business and myself.

  • LATE POLICY

    I do allow a 15 minute grace period from the start of your appointment time. If you are more than 15 minutes, we will have to reschedule your appointment, and the $50 cancellation fee will be charged. I have put this policy in place to respect the time of my clients. If I am running late on your appointment, that pushes my entire day back and causes the rest of my clients that day to have to wait. I understand things happen that are out of your control, which is why I have a 15 minute grace period. Thank you for understanding.

  • NEW COLOR POLICY

    First time color clients can expect an investment of $175-$350. At your first appointment, I will solely be working on your hair, instead of double booking myself. This will probably be a little longer of an appointment. Please plan to spend 4-5 hours at the salon this day. This ensures we can do everything necessary to get you as close as possible to your hair goals. Please remember that any big color change will most liekly result in multiple session plan to get you to your desired hair color. 

  • My business hours are Tuesday (9am-7pm)- Saturday (9am- 4pm). I only respond to work related messages during these hours. If you reach out to me or submit an application on a day/time outside of these hours, please wait for a response. Thanks!
