I hereby acknowledge that sailing is a competitive and rigorous activity which involves certain inherent risks and dangers, including, but not limited to, serious physical injury, drowning, dismemberment or death. It shall be the sole responsibility of each skipper to decide whether to start or to continue a race, voluntarily assume the risk of participation in same and agree to hold harmless and indemnify against any and all losses and/or claims incident thereto, the organization and/or personnel conducting the race.

Please enter my boat in the 2023 Rotary Mayor's Cup Regatta. In consideration of your accepting my entry, I hereby agree to all conditions for the Rotary Mayor's Cup Regatta which I have read and understand. I hereby warrant that my boat will be outfitted, equipped and handled in accordance with those conditions; that it will have all the required equipment aboard; that it is seaworthy in hull, rig and gear; and that it will be competently manned. I do for myself, my executors, my administrators and assigns, waive any and all claims that may have against the City of Plattsburgh, the Rotary Club Race Committee or the Plattsburgh Sunrise Rotary Club, their officers, Directors, Members, Employees and Agents, and any one or more of them, their successors, Executors, Administrators and Assigns, arising out of the participation of my boat in the Rotary Mayor's Cup Regatta and its related activities, together with any costs including reasonable attorney's fees that may be incurred as a result of any such claims whether valid or not; and I do hereby indemnify each of them against any such claims that any officer or member of my crew or his executors, Administrators, Heirs, Next of Kin, and Assigns or all of them may have or assert and costs with respect thereto:
