I also understand that Sense Academy and New York Chess Academy cannot assure the following: that all persons entering or present at the Sense Academy site do not have COVID-19; that the individuals in question will constantly adhere to the preventive measures in place; nor that Sense Academy's application of said measures will prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. Furthermore, any fault in the implementation of preventive measures does not constitute negligence on the part of Sense Academy or New York Chess Academy.

I understand that New York Sense Chess Tournaments are public events. I hereby grant full permission to Sense Academy and New York Chess Academy to use photographs, video- and/or audio-recordings of me, and/or my child participating in the tournament, taken during this event in publications, news releases, online, and in other communications. I understand that neither I, nor my child, is entitled to compensation for their appearance in such materials. I release and discharge both parties from all liability, losses, and damages for libel, slander, invasion of privacy, or any other claim arising out of or relating to the use of videotapes, recordings, and/or photographs.
