Positivity, Faithfulness, Encouragement, and Loyalty are just a few qualities that Peggy Horn exhibited in her 98 years of life.
The Good Cheer Scholarship is in memory of Peggy Horn, a Fort Worth native, who was a loyal supporter of the Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant ever since 1962.
Peggy was dedicated to her faith, family, friends, gardening, traveling, and to the love of her life Dr. Jack Horn. She served her community as a servant leader teaching the Good Cheer Sunday School class for 63 years. Her only child, Larry Bob, passed at the age of 17, but she remained steadfast in her faith until her death in 2021.
