During the process of complaint submission, the IAABC will collect some private information about you. This includes your name, contact information, IP address, and location, as well as information about your professional background and relationship to the respondent of the complaint.
The information the IAABC collects in this form will remain confidential according to our needs in processing Ethics Complaints. The information may be used in this process in the following manner:
- The Executive Director and Ethics Director will receive the form in its entirety
- The Ethics Team may view the form in its entirety
- Other member organizations of the Joint Code of Ethics may receive information submitted in this form during Joint Ethics Panel procedures
Your identity will remain confidential to the organization(s) involved and your name will not be disclosed to the person you are submitting the complaint about without your written permission.
After you submit an ethics complaint, the IAABC requires that you keep the complaint process and results confidential. This means that you cannot tell other people, except for your legal counsel, that you have filed a complaint or the outcome of the complaint.
If you choose to file a complaint with any other organization that is part of the Joint Code of Ethics, you may disclose that you have already filed a complaint with the IAABC.
