Frequently Asked Questions
- Primary Camper is between the ages of 0-18.
- Lives with an active inhibitor that has not successfully tolerized. Because inhibitors have been known to return after just weeks, months, or years after tolerization, children who have had a successful immune tolerance experience within the past 3 years or less will also be welcomed to attend. Those who have tolerized more than three years ago will be welcomed, as space allows.
- Campers are welcome to attend regardless of what bypassing agents and/or factor products they use.
Will there be medical coverage?
We will have a highly skilled nurse with multiple years of experience familiar with managing hemophilia with an inhibitor on duty all weekend. The SUNY Upstate Medical University is the nearest HTC within a 2 hour drive. The nearest hospital is Wayne Memorial about 30-40 minutes away.
