Manly Men of Magen, we are so excited that MagenCon 2022 is coming up very soon. Please join us from Friday June 10 to Sunday June 12 for our first in-person MagenCon in two years! We have so many amazing Magen classics such as Magen olympics, mini sticks and other spectacular programs. We will also hold our AIT Inductions and a chapter Separates. This is our last function of the year so you don’t want to miss it.
MagenCon will take place at an AirBnb in North York (the exact address will be shared with registered participants only). Participants should arrive at the AirBnb between 4:00-4:30pm on Friday. On Sunday morning we’ll be moving to Ethan’s house, so pickup on Sunday will be at 2:00pm at Ethan’s house.
The cost is $99 and includes accommodations and facilities, meals, programming, supplies, staffing, and more! Space is limited to just 24 participants and we expect a sell-out, so be sure to register soon to save your spot!
Please note that BBYO policy prohibits teens from driving themselves to multi-night overnights, therefore teens may not drive themselves to this convention.
Health & Safety Protocols: Based on current public health guidance, we have identified the following health and safety protocols for MagenCon:
-
Everyone attending MagenCon must have received the full series of an approved COVID-19 vaccine or a combination of accepted vaccines at least 14 days prior to the convention.
-
We strongly encourage that all participants receive a flu (influenza) vaccine before attending MagenCon.
-
If a participant shows symptoms of COVID-19 or feels sick while at MagenCon, the participant will be quarantined while their family is notified. Families will be responsible for making arrangements for their teen to be transferred to the care of a parent/guardian or a designated emergency contact within 3 hours of being notified.
-
Lastly, we strongly recommend that participants take care in interacting with unvaccinated, immunocompromised, and/or at-risk individuals for several days upon returning home from MagenCon.
Participant information, including a suggested packing list and emergency contact information, will be sent by email to registered participants and parents approximately one week prior to the convention.
Partial scholarships are available based on need and vary subject to the availability of funds. To apply for scholarship assistance, please register for the convention and then complete the Scholarship Application.
