  • Job Description- Part Time Sales Representative

    We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic, outgoing person to join our team at Maple and Elm Boutique! The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service.

  • Job responsibilities:

    • Provide excellent customer service including greeting customers upon arrival, anticipating needs and assisting as needed throughout the shopping experience.
    • Communicate effectively with store management.
    • Be respectful, treat others fairly, value differences and do not pass judgement on potential customers.
    • Contribute to ensure positive work environment including being a “team player”.
    • Complete opening/closing procedures accurately.
    • Maintain good store knowledge including locating items efficiently for customers and maintaining organization throughout the shift.
    • Perform transactions accurately including handling cash, providing change without error and utilization of POS system.
    • Promptly report all potential incidents regarding customer or employee.
    • Be dependable
    • Light daily cleaning to maintain presentable store appearance.
    • Assisting with inventory process including steaming, tagging and adding new items to store.
    • Assisting with window displays as needed.
    • Flexibility/adaptability (willing to work multiple locations, weekends and holidays is preferred).
    • Assisting and maintaining M+E brand by stocking, folding, hanging and displaying.
    • Ability to assist with social media content.

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Squatting
    • Climbing
    • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
    • Must be able to work alone
