Guidelines for submitting a feature story for inclusion in the EDSD News and on the EDSD.org website

An EDSD Feature News Story is an inspirational, true story about Episcopalians having extraordinary experiences. It is a story that opens the heart and revives the spirit. It can be a simple piece that touches readers or a more dynamic testimony that helps readers discover the Good News of Christ in their own lives.

Guidelines: EDSD News Feature Story
1. Tell an exciting, heartwarming, or funny story about a ministry, a personal    experience with Christ, or a church event. Your story should be written in the first person and should be about yourself or someone close to you.
2. Tell your story in a way that will make the reader smile or get goosebumps.
3. Don’t be afraid to speak from the heart.
4. Keep your story to 1000 words or less.Tighten, tighten, tighten!
5. Include artwork.

Guidelines: Image/Art for the EDSD Feature Story:
Art, for inclusion in the news, should be provided in .jpeg or .png formats at a resolution of 72dpi and at the appropriate size. Feature article images should be 800x418px.
