Operations for the City of Rowlett are spread across 18 different facilities. Some of the facilities have reached their maximum capacity and then some - Public Safety, Animal Shelter and Parks Department Maintenance. City Hall is more than 80 years old, it has not aged gracefully and the lack of energy efficiency is a concern.

The need for facilities is real. That's where YOU come in. The City would like to know how you would prioritize the building of those facilities.

Herfurth Park has been identified as a key amenity in the redevelopment of Downtown Rowlett. Phase I, funded as part of the 2018 bond program, will begin soon, which leaves Phase 2 (active play/dog park) and Phase 3 (Main Street & Plaza) at an estimated $2 million each.
