  • Missouri DOT Electric Vehicle Survey

As part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program was created to provide funds for states to install chargers for electric vehicles (EVs) along designated Alternative Fuel Corridors. Missouri expects to receive nearly $100 million from this program over five years. To be eligible for the federal program, MoDOT needs to submit a Statewide EV Infrastructure Plan by Aug. 1, 2022. Your input provided in this survey will be used to inform the potential locations and amenities of EV charging stations around the state. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback!

EV direct current (DC) fast chargers are significantly faster than other types of electric vehicle charging stations. Fast chargers can charge an EV in 15 to 45 minutes, making them a good option for supporting long distance trips. Fast chargers give you 180-240 miles of range per hour, and in comparison, Level 2 (slower) chargers give you 10-20 miles of range per hour, which are a good option for destination charging (workplace, home, other destinations).
