Participants must be at least 13 years of age to be FAMACHA certified.
This is not my rule so I cannot bend it.
This workshop is held on my farm and you will be touching/handling some of my goats. For this reason, we all need to be aware of BIOSECURITY.
This is for the protection of MY animals and the protection of YOUR animals.
- Please do NOT wear your farm shoes/boots.
- Please do NOT wear the same clothes you did your morning chores in.

* COURSE CONTENT *
Please do not expect to attend this workshop and leave here with a SIMPLE magic answer to all your parasite problems =) It is impossible to eradicate parasites within our livestock.
We CAN learn to make good management and treatment decisions based upon a surplus of knowledge. Applying that knowledge will be very individual to each farm/ranch/property. This means there is no ONE cookie-cutter way for any of us to manage parasites, but instead a combination of property-specific efforts and management techniques that will work.
My goal is to educate you about the things we can do to make a positive difference in the war against parasites so that you each 1) will be able to make confident and informed decisions for your animals and 2) can justify or question advice given to you by others.
