Surf Life Saving School – Team members required for Term 4.
SLSSNB is now looking for team members to help run our surf awareness programs. We offer a number of programs mostly aimed at primary school children. We have loads of programs running Monday to Friday during school hours in Term 4 and need proficient (31/12/2022) Bronze Medallion holders to help run these programs successfully. Our busiest period and when we need lots of staff is from 10 October 2022 to 16 December 2022. So there is plenty of work even if your school term finishes early December 2022.
In order to work for the Surf Life Saving School, you need to be a current active Financial Member of a surf club and must be proficient (31/12/2022) in either the Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue Certificate
We also offer work for Surf Recue Certificate holders, however, they are not allowed to work on or supervise any wet/water activities. SRC holders can only work/supervise dry/beach activities.
If you are friendly, outgoing, able to talk to large groups and enjoy working with children then this is a perfect job for you. Your job will be to lead groups of students through an array of activities ranging from board paddling to touch footy and lots of fun activities.
Our rate of pay starts at $22 per hour for team members and each shift is minimum of three hours.
If you are 18 or over, you will need to have a paid Working With Children Number. You will need to provide this before you can begin to work.

Once you complete and submit this form, you will be sent a Staff Manual which needs to be completed before you are able to start working.
