  • I understand that background checks on new hires will include a nationwide background check and a sex offender check. Offers of employment are conditioned on the results of the background screen. Factors to be considered may include, but are not limited to, the nature and circumstances of the derogatory information, the length of time since the reported matter, the number of matters reported, and information provided by the candidate. Notifications of rights and of pre-adverse action notices will be made if a contingent offer is to be withdrawn based on information reported in the background check report.
