Entry fee of $15 includes a pastel chalk set with 48 colors, squirt bottle, sponge, and a logo themed bag.
Pre-registered participants pick up supplies at the Windsor Chamber Office on Saturday September 3rd at 8:00 AM and get the business you will be paired with that will be sponsoring you.
You will have from 8:00AM-1:00PM to work on your art piece.
Judging - 1PM to 4PM
Prizes will be given for winners in each age group and for the best Windsor Harvest Festival 100th Anniversary themed piece.
Cash Prizes will be given to the Adult 18+ Professional category.
Judges will consider the following: Artistic Ability, Visual Appeal. Artistic Ability=fresh approach, composition, color, use of chalk. Visual Appeal=purely the personal opinion of the judge.
Artwork must be appropriate for general public viewing (no objectionable or political subject matter). The Windsor Chamber has the right to "wash you out" if it is not appropriate.
Suggestions: Wear old clothing or protective clothing. Bring a sketch or plan. Bring rags, blending brushes, sponges to blend, gloves to wear if you choose to blend with your hands since the concrete will leave you raw, kneelingpad, water sunscreen, hat, umbrella. etc.
A map will be created to show people the businesses that supported the local artists and showcase their chalk art so anyone will be able to come and enjoy the art
