Brewery Tour | Wednesday 22 June

Looking over the Brewmaster’s shoulder while receiving insights into the great art of brewing beer and discovering the philosophy behind the cultural heritage.

Join us as part of a tour through the fermentation and storage cellar of the brewery. Find out how high-quality, original ingredients create a wonderfully fresh, unpasteurized beer. The tour through the brewery and the subsequent tasting of our specialties is an unforgettable event.

Following the tour, we will come together for a meal at KULTURBRAUEREI HEIDELBERG's restaurant.

Cost for the event:

• Brewery Tour - $15 USD, includes tasting
• Conference Meal - $23 USD (meal only, not drinks)

 

Brewery Tour Meal Options:

• Seasonal salad with grilled corn fed chicken
• Grilled sausages Palatine style
• Crispy suckling pig on dark beer sauce
• Vienna Schnitzel with lemons and cranberries
• Sirloin steak Palatine style
• Filet of pork with mushroom cream sauce
• Mediterranean vegetable casserole baked with feta cheese and crème fraiche
• All main courses are served with: seasonal vegetables, homemade Spätzle, potato salad, and coleslaw.

The items below have had interest gauged in prior surveys, but we are now asking you to commit to whether or not you are attending so that we may have accurate counts heading into each.

 

Wine Tasting and Bachata Lessons | Thursday, 23 June

If you have a guest that is 18+, bring them along for wine tasting and bachata lessons after our conference sessions on Thursday, June 23rd. Your guest can join in this event at no additional cost.

 

Closing Dinner at Flammkuchenhof Heidelberg (Pizza & Beer) | Friday, 24 June

Flammkuchenhof Heidelberg has more varieties of pizza (even dessert pizzas!) than you've ever seen. Join us (and bring your guests!) for this closing dinner. Each attendee and guest will be added at the 'all-you-can-eat' price. There is no cost for conference attendees; however, guests will be $20 USD (children are $10 USD). MOBTS will cover one drink (beer, wine, etc.) for each conference attendee.

 

Guided Walking Tour of Heidelberg | Saturday, 25 June

There will be a guided tour of Heidelberg by one of our DHBW faculty members beginning at 10:00am. This tour will last approximately two hours. The group may disperse for lunch afterwards, though at this time we do not have reservations made. There is no cost to the tour itself, though certain aspects may have fees (ex. Should the tour take the lift to Konigstuhl).
