  • As a landlord in the beauty industry seeking booth renters, the following questions
    are designed to make the best possible selection of a candidate. These questions will help us better understand the level of responsibility you maintain as self-employed individual. This is not a GUARANTEE for employment or leasing.

  • Some services don't require a state license. If you are doing one of those services and you only have a certificate. Please upload your certificate in ALL the license and certificate spaces. You won't be able to submit with any empty spaces.

  • Suite Fees and Deposit Information

    *This is a 12 month contract. 
    *A 2 weeks notice is required upon terminate your tenacy. If 2 week notice is not given your security deposit will be forfeited.
    *All rent is drafted electroncally from a debit card or credit card every Sunday via invoice to be set-up upon lease agreement. 
    *There is a 25.00 weekly addendum INCLUDED in your rent to cover insurance.
    *Your security deposit is equivalent to 2 weeks rent plus  insurance.
    *Your security is held in escrow. 
    *Upon your departure you will live out your security your last 2 weeks tenancy. Space is to be returned as received with white walls (if painted)
    If rent payment is declined, there will be a second attempt made the next day.
    If rent is still declined you will be asked to cash app/Zelle your rent. And access to suite will be denied. And lockcodes will be changed. 

  • Important INFORMATION

    *In the event of A government mandated closure. You will NOT hve to pay rent. However you will have to pay any back rent in the form of installments. These arrangements will be set up on a case by case basis.

     *In the case or maternity leave, vacation, hospitalization and/or any other absence, you are obligated to pay your rent according to the terms of your contract! ALL PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS MUST BE MADE AND INITIATED BY YOU! IT ALSO MUST BE AGREED TO BY MANAGEMENT.

  • TAXES

    All taxes are the responsibility of the INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR.

    YOUR TAX LIABILITY TO THE IRS AND THE STATE ARE AS FOLLOWS....

    Self-employment tax
    Social security
    Medicare
    Quarterly installment
    If you are an LLC. To the State You pay………

    Your corporate renewal fee.
    If you have a wholesale license you pay.........

    Any retail taxes and renewal fees
    Retail Sales

    ALL TENANTS ARE ALLOWED TO SELL THEIR OWN PRODUCT IN THE SUITE ONLY!

  • Tenant/Client/ Assistant Responsibilities 

    *You are allowed to have 3 CLIENTS MAX in salon at any given time.
    *Clients are not allowed to bring extra people unless being serviced.
    *If tenant is not present when client arrives and client has to sit for more than 15 minutes they will be asked to wait in their car.
    *Your assistant is not allowed to have the salon issued key or alarm code to open the salon.
    *Your assistant must be a cosmetology school student and/or must be licensed in order to perform professional services.
    *There will be an extra 25.00 weekly fee added to your rent for and assistant for insurance purposes.
    *It is your responsibility to inform clients to come alone for their services. And that anyone staying for more than 15 minutes will be asked to sit in their car.
    **I am aware that all marketing such as business card, flyers, promotions etc. Is the sole responsibility of the tenant.

  • SALON HOUSE RULES

    EXESSIVE SWEARING and extremely loud talking or music will not be tolerated from ANYONE!
    NO CHILDREN UNDER 12 ALLOWED UNLESS BEING SERVICED. NO SMOKING,VAPING or ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED TO BE CONSUMED ON PREMISES. 

  • SALON MAINTENANCE POLICY

    COMMON AREAS/ lobby, sinks, bathroom paper products and soap will be Provided by Owner  Weekly Cleaning provided by Cleaning Service  

    SALON SUITE:  you are responsible to keep sweets clean and disinfected in accordance with North Carolina Cosmetic Arts standards

    TRASH:  your trash is to be emptied daily in a assigned dumpster outside. 

    CLIENTS: your clients garbage must be put in your garbage can.

    MICRO/FRIDGE/COFFEE MAKER will be located in your room and must be kept clean.

    BATHROOM: this is all tenants responsibility. There will be a rotating schedule for every tenant to clean bathroom nightly. This is to ensure that all clients come into a clean, safe restroom.

    ONCE YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN REVIEWED YOU WILL BE GIVEN A CALL (IF YOU QUALIFY) TO DO A VIRTUAL INTERVIEW. FILLING OUT THE APPLICATION IS NO GUARANTEE OF TENANCY!
