• BIMCO SURVEY ON SINGLE USE PLASTICS ONBOARD SHIPS

    Thank you for completing our survey on plastics onboard ships which will support the BIMCO campaign to reduce the contribution of ships to global plastic pollution. We encourage all shipping companies to complete the survey. Questions will be most easily answered by those with responsibility for procurement of supplies so we would kindly ask that you forward the link accordingly.

  • About the survey

    • The survey should take you between 10 and 15 minutes to complete.
    • When you have completed the survey just click the SUBMIT button to send it to the BIMCO Marine Environment Department.
    • By doing so, you allow BIMCO to use the information as stated in the confidentiality and data protection management statement below.

    Confidentiality, data protection and ue of information

    • We will use the information you provide for the purposes of supporting the BIMCO campaign to reduce marine plastic litter from ships.
    • We ask for your company name in order to validate the survey. Should you wish your company to remain anonymous you will be asked to indicate this at the end of the survey
    • If supplied your contact information will be added to the BIMCO membership database if it is not already there.
    • BIMCO will not pass on your personal information to third parties.
    • By completing and submitting this questionnaire, you have given us your consent to keep and use your personal information in accordance with this notice.

    This section will ask you questions about your company, the number of ships operated and the number of crew onboard. The survey collects information for the baseline year 2021. However, if your company owns or operates passenger ships please use 2019 as the baseline.
