Under Article 11 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) (NI) Order 1995, it is the responsibility of the Council to determine the name/s by which a street or road in its District is to be known and to allocate numbers to the properties.
NB. The Council will use the Townland name in all addresses to help retain this part of our heritage.
In order that the Council may discharge its responsibility under the above legislation, you are requested to complete the details listed below.
Proposals for street names must be considered at the earliest opportunity. Please remember that the Council requires the use of appropriate name/s which incorporate or have associated features related to the Townland name or have some local historical connection, but do not approve personal name/s.
