1. We would love to know more about why you feel the Earth School would be a beneficial experience for your child. Please describe below. Please also note that the Earth School program is 100% outdoors.
2. Is your child able to stay with a group? If not, please share more.

Our program centers on supporting young people to strengthen their sense of connection— with self, with peers, with community, with the plants and animals, etc. Please share more about when your child feels connected. How does your child engage socially? When do you observe your child feeling most connected?
4. What presents the greatest challenge for your child in an outdoor setting? What aspects present the most discomfort for your child in an outdoor environment?
5. What nature-based skills are most important to you that your child has the opportunity to develop?

12. At the Earth School, we value children's families having opportunities to join their child in the journey of deepening nature-connection. The Earth School is exploring the possibility of opening a "Fauna Farm to Family" nature-connection program for adults, which would focus on providing workshops for the children's parents/caregivers so that they, too, can develop nature-based skills alongside their child (plant ID, tree grafting, gardening skills, primitive skills, cob oven building, construction projects, maple syrup tapping and boiling, bow drilling and primitive fire-making, etc.). Is this a program you would have interest in participating in? If so, what skills would you be most interested in this program including?
Please note: our program is not yet resourced to offer enrollment for those students with special needs. However, inclusion is a core value at Fauna Forest Farm. Please write to us to share what kind of outdoor programming you believe there is a need for in our area. We would love to hear from you.
