    • Verbal Warning - To remind someone of the discord rules who has understood and is agreeing to follow them as well as if they apologized.

    • Warning - A warning would go to someone who has already received a verbal warning, refuses commands, has already been warned, or has done an offense that results in a warning.

    • Kick - A kick is required when someone has received 3 warnings or has done an offense that requires them to be kicked such as: Evading Staff.

    • Ban - Bans should be used when someone has already reached max points. Or they have done an offense that requires them to be banned such as: Exploiting. If you will be capture proof of them doing the offense.

    Game Tips:


    Note: Use this tips to assist you on a shift or server start up.

    1. Always clock-in once you join the game if you will go on-duty.

    2. Staff may not use :m to say "on-duty". And moderators shouldn't spam the :m command, wait at least 5-15 minutes from the last announcement to post something. Only announce something right after if its urgent.

    3. Try not to use commands while off-duty unless its urgent and always go on break when going AFK.

    4. Do not view users for long periods of time.

    5. There should only be 1 moderator at a scene unless more assistance is needed.

    6. Wear the staff uniforms while on-duty so users know and can recognize you as staff.

    7. Priority timer should only be used during major FRP.

    8. Kick users who cause or trigger a disturbance in priority timer. Users may be kicked up to 30 minutes. Max time they can be kicked for is 1 hour, but you are recommended 30 minutes

    9. A STS is held when FRP is increasing and can be hosted by an administrator.

    10. Always use grammar and punctuation while on-duty.

    11. Do not leave your staff vehicles in the middle of the road when responding to a mod call.

    12. Staff must have cruise lights on when patrolling, you must obey speed limits and stop signs as well as red lights. You may violate these rules when chasing a violator.

    13. Never use the commands :kick all, :ban, :respawn all, :load all, :bring all, or anything along those lines without proper authorization from a HR.

    STS Guide:

     


    1. The STS will occur at the red building near the fire department. Members will stand on the sidewalk and staff on the road. The host will be ahead of all staff members.

    2. Once at the STS location make sure to set up the cones, police tape, and block off the main exit. There should be a guide on how to set up an STS properly in staff chat pins.

    3. A STS can only be hosted by an administrator, if there are no admins online request permission.

    4. Always announce the STS at least 15 minutes in advance before the STS starts.

    5. Only the host should use :load others and :bring all and the :m command. Nobody else besides the host may use the :m command.

    :m ❗ An STS is going to occur! Please conclude all roleplays and prepare to be teleported.

    6. Once 15 minutes have occurred use the respawn command once (host only) and use the bring command twice (host only).

    :m 👋 Welcome to California State Roleplay We have initiated our STS in which we will review our rules, user avatars, and answer questions.

    :m ⏰ During this STS please do not emote, talk, or move.

    :m You may not patrol as FD, Swat, etc. You may not use staff liveries unless staff. Also, limit the amount of robberies and crimes you commit.

    :m You may not randomly shoot civilians or officers.

    :m You may not purposely drive recklessly or crash into objects or users.

    :m Exotics are banned unless you are a server booster or premium member in our comms. You must use our liveries and uniforms for each team!

    :m You must use Fear Roleplay for every RP. You may not sling or unholster a weapon while someone is pointing a weapon at you.

    :m You must respect safe zones! These zones include Fire Department, Police/Sheriff Station, Transportation Department, and civilian spawn.

    :m Wear realistic avatars to help enhance roleplays.

    :m Snipers, Shotguns, and Machine Weapons. Weapons such as AK47 require gun motion at all times.

    :m Always yield to staff. Evading staff will result in a kick. Staff are in marked vehicles and uniforms.

    :m Cuff Rushing is not allowed. You must transport all detainees to the county jail/prison or the police station. Departments such as Swat, Undercover, etc are whitelisted departments.

    :m Any roleplays against Roblox ToS is banned, this includes Gang Roleplay. You need over 3 people to commit robberies.

    :m Lastly, use common sense. We shouldn't have to list all the rules as you should have a basic knowledge on the rules.

    Take note: Circle is our only moderation bot we use. Do not use any other bot for the moderation of the discord server unless circle is down. (In the case of circling being down use dyno)

    • Kick - Staff Evasion, multiple rule violations, underaged, Failure to comply multiple times
    • Ban - Exploiting, Mass Rule Violation, Mass Evasion, Ban Bolo, Raiding, Multiple Kicks

    !case - Lookup a modlog by its case number.

    !clean - Clean up Circle's recent messages.

    !diagnose - Check if there are any issues with the bot or one of her plugins/commands.

    !kick - Kick a user from the server.

    !lock - Deny Send Messages permissions for the @everyone role in the mentioned channel.

    !locked - Get a list of temporary locked channels in your server.

    !members - View a list of users who are inside of a role and aren't in another role, or view the membercount of the server if no arguments are provided.

    !moderations - Get a list of muted/temp-banned users and the time until they're unmuted/unbanned.

    !modlogs - Get a list of moderation actions taken against the mentioned user.

    !modstats - View moderation statistics for top moderators or for a specific moderator (all time or since a certain date). This will update every 10 minutes.

    !nick - Change/clear the nickname of the bot or a user.

    !purge - Bulk delete a number of messages.

    !reason - Edit the reason of a modlog case.

    !softban - Softban a user. This will ban then immediately unban them to purge their messages.

    !unban - Unban a banned user from the server.

    !unlock - Allow Send Messages permissions for the @everyone role in the mentioned channel.

    !unmute - Unmute a muted user.

    !verifybypass - Allow a user to bypass verification.

    !void - Clear a users modlogs.

    Discord Tips:


    1. Always provide a reason when you moderate someone.

    2. You cannot use commands in chats unless moderating. Use bot commands or staff commands for that.

    3. Moderate accordingly and always list the rule number when moderating someone for a rule violation.

    4. You must always have proof to ban someone. All bans must be provided with a ban appeal form unless there is sufficient proof for his ban.

    5. Do not abuse your power as a discord moderator. Always be professional when moderating.

    6. Do not let emotions get to you, always be professional and calm. Always be reasonable with moderation actions.

    7. Make sure to always check modlogs of a to check if they have previous moderation history, if so they will need a harsher punishment.

    8. Never ban without proper authorization from a HR.

    9. Ban appeals are only handled by Discord Manager+.

    Server Sessions Guidance

    Server Session Guide:


    M Command:

    The :m command should be used every 5 -15 minutes of the last :m command. Spamming the command will result in a penalty. The only time this should be violated is when you need to use the command urgently.

    Kick Command:

    The kick command should only be used when someone has violated the rules or has done an offense that results in a kick. Inappropriate usage of this command will result in penalty such as a possible demotion. Always log moderation actions in the game logs channel.

    Ban Command:

    The ban command should use be used when a user has done an offense that results in a ban or has been kicked multiple times during a server session. You should always have some form of proof before banning a user and log it. Inappropriate usage of the ban command will result in a possible demotion or termination.

    How to host a start up:

    To host a server start up you must have permission from an HR+ and then ask staff if they want a SSU and if they can join. After you have host a server start up vote . Once it has gained the necessary amount of reactions you may use the start up command by saying ga!help and using the ssu command listed.

    How to host a server shutdown:

    To host a server shutdown you must let an HR know (unless a HR yourself) that you will do a server shutdown. Only do a server shutdown when we have below 10 members for a long period of time or if the server is low on staff members. Always ask for staff to join before requesting a server shutdown, if staff cannot join tell an HR and announce the server shutdown message in Game Scripts, wait 5 minutes then use the shutdown message again then use the kick all command. Once done, ask an administrator to use the server shutdown command.

    What you may not do off-duty:

    Staff members are not allowed to do everything listed here. Everything here listed is what you are not allowed to do while off-duty. You may not use any moderator commands while off-duty unless it's urgent. You may not use any staff uniforms are anything that makes you look like a staff member while off-duty. You may not use any staff vehicles or any vehicles that have the staff markings on them. You must abide to game rules at all times, you are not excluded from following them while off-duty. Lastly, you must abide and comply to moderator commands, if a on-duty moderator asks you to pull over or stop, you stop.

    Tickets Support Guide

    Note: Only Support Team members are allowed to handle tickets, including discord moderators.

    • Response Time: If the user hasn't responded since the last message or creation of the ticket ask the user if they need support, if not close the ticket. As well as always be attentive to the ticket if it is on-going. Do not go somewhere else if the ticket is active.

    • Ticket Meanings: Community Support is for server members if they have questions or concerns. Community Relations is for reporting staff members, reporting abuse, or for other important reports.

    • Tickets Opened: There should be 1 ticket per user. If a user has more than 1 ticket open, redirect them to their older ticket and close the most recent one.

    1. Be attentive to the ticket. Don't lose focus from a ticket, always be attentive unless the user hasn't responded for 15 minutes.

    2. Always leave staff reports or any type of reports to the community management team or Internal Affairs Team.

    3. There should be only 1 attendant per ticket. There shouldn't be more than 1 unless requested.

    4. Always ask if they need anything else or have any questions or concerns before closing the ticket.
