QUEEN: IT'S A NEW DAY

Queen: It's A New Day is an annual event that helps to transform the lives of women for the positive. We are looking for volunteers to help make this event a huge success. No experience necessary. We will train you one what you need to know. You may volunteer in one area or many, as the day has lots of options for serving.

The Queen Event is on Saturday, August 6th from 7:30a - 5:30p (volunteer time). Volunteer for part of the day or the entire day! See below for job descriptions and to sign up.

Join us for a volunteer information meeting on Monday, June 27th @ 7p in the Annex where we will share the vision of Queen It's A New Day, outline each serve opportunity, and answer any questions you may have.

SETUP TEAM: This person would be part of the team that would be setting up different rooms on the M4CHURCH Campus for the Queen Event. This includes moving tables & chairs, setting tables, and helping with signage. This person would need to commit to setting up on Friday, August 5th before the event and possibly be available in the morning of Saturday, August 6th for last minute setup changes.

TEAR DOWN TEAM: This person would be part of the team that would be tearing down the event in all rooms used for the event, and returning the church back to it's original condition to be ready for Sunday services. This person would need commit to being available on Saturday, August 6th at 3p - 5:30p. There will be moving of tables & chairs, emptying garbages, replacing all furniture to where it needs to be for Sunday services.

WELCOME TEAM COORDINATOR: This person would be overseeing the entire Welcome Team, helping to gather volunteers and making sure that the checking and registration process for the Queens runs smoothly. This person is asked to arrive at 7:30a and stay through the registration & check in process is complete, approx. 10a. This person is asked to wear black pants and a white shirt.

WELCOME TEAM: Be part of the team that welcomes the Queens to the event. You will assist with verifying their registration. This team member is asked to wear black pants and a white shirt. This team member is asked to arrive at 7:30a and stay until all Queens have checked in, approximately 9:30a.

QUEEN'S LADY: This woman would be a friend to the Queen. You would be available for her every need, escorting her through the different aspects of the day, praying for her, being her friend. This woman is asked to commit to being at the entire event from 7:30a - 5:30p (volunteer time). This person is asked to wear black pants and a white shirt.

USHER & FOOT WASHER: This man would be available from 7:30a - 12:30p to help in two ways. They would be responsible for helping to setup and clean up the foot washing stations. This person would be washing the feet of the Queens, just before they walk the Red Carpet, and they would be the Usher/Escort down the Red Carpet for the Queens. This man is as to wear black pants and a white shirt.

FOOD SERVICE HELPER: This person would assist the chef with making sure that the food service for the event is setup and stocked, assuring that each guest is served lunch. This person would assist with setup, stocking food stations, and clean up of the food service at the end of the lunch. This person is asked to arrive at 9:30a and stay until lunch service is cleaned up. This person is asked to wear black pants and a white shirt.

QUEEN'S WARDROBE TEAM: This woman would assist the Queens with their new wardrobes. You would help them to dress and look her best. You would be asked to be at the event from 7:30a - 12:30p. You would assist with the setup and clean up of the wardrobe room. This woman is asked to wear black pants and a white shirt.
