  • We are here to help you! The only difference is that we are working a little bit different to normal. 

    What exactly does that mean for you?

    When you call to make an appointment the reception team will offer you a phone or video consultation first with your registered GP, sometimes your GP will be fully booked so we may send you a link to UnifyHealth.  UnifyHealth is working with our practice to offfer affordable virtual appointments with qualified trusted GPs, we know this can be frustrating not having access to your GP, however, all your notes come back to the practice so your GP will be informed of your consultation.

    ONLINE DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS
  • Do you need to see a Doctor when we are closed or fully booked?

    A reminder that we have a quality, trusted online doctor option for you!

    You will only be charged with what you are normally pay at Mangere Health Centre and children under 14 are free. Simply go to book.unifyhealth.co.nz on your computer or smartphone to book an appointment when we are not available.

    This online service is available until Thursday 30 June 2022, 7 days a week, including public holidays.

    Follow the steps below:

    1. In your web browser enter: book.unifyhealth.co.nz


    2. On the patient details screen enter your exact first name, last name, gender and date of birth that you have registered with our clinic. Nicknames and middle names should not be entered.

    3. On the choose service screen, click the orange button "Care HQ see a doctor now"  then follow the steps to book an appointment with CareHQ.

    When you have successfully booked a time for your online appointment, you will get several email and text reminders, including a secure link that you can click on just before your appointment to be connected to the doctor. If you need a prescription or tests this can be arranged for you during your online doctors appointment.

  • Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) INFO

  • What to do if your COVID RAT result is positive?

    1. You and anyone living with you must immediatly isolate for at least 7 days.  

    2. Upload your result to advise the MOH

    3. Click "If you have covid-19"  link to head along to the COVID-19 website for lots of next steps information on who else you need to notify of your positive results, how to look after yourself, how to seek support for food, medicines etc. 

    Note: If you have a positive RAT result you do no need to have a nasal PCR swab to confirm your positive RAT result. 

  • COVID PCR & RAT TESTING

  • We are still offering testing to our enrolled patients.

    If you need a test:

    • Please call fist to arrange an appointment time
    • Instructions will be texted to you on where to go and what to do!

     

    When you arrive for your test

    • Stay in your car and call reception to let them know you are here. 
    • Reception will arrive you on the appointment screen
    • When the COVID testing nurse is ready, she will call your mobile and give you instructions on where to go. 

     

    Test time

    • Park in the designated area (see picture below)
    • Masks on!
    • Follow the instructions of the nurse  

     

    Waiting for your RAT test results

    • Drive down to the main car park and wait until the nurse has sent you your text result.
    • It can take anywhere from 15mins - 30mins to recieve your result. The result will be texted to your mobile number along with information on what your next steps are.

     

    Waiting for your PCR test results

    • Time to head home and isolate until your results come in
    • PCR results are taking between 3-7days, you can log into your My Covid record to get your results,  the result is recorded there before we get it on our system! :)
