Weatherization Rebate Application

If you heat fully or partially with natural gas, seek weatherization incentives via Mass Save's insulation and air-sealing programs and interest-free financing or call (800) 232-0672. Incentives are generally provided as a deduction from the natural gas customer's copay on the total project cost, and cannot be applied for retroactively if the work was completed outside the purview of the Mass Save program. 

If you heat with fuels other than natural gas, apply for your weatherization rebate below.  Before beginning your rebate application:

• Review the Weatherization Rebate Program guidelines
• Have electronic copies of the following documents ready to upload:
  • Contractor invoice and/or receipt for materials
  • Proof of income verification, if you are requesting a rebate based on household income that is ≤80% or ≤120% of Boston Metropolitan Area median income.

Households are eligible for the following maximum weatherization rebate amounts each calendar year.  Multiple applications can be submitted if the household has not yet reached its rebate cap.

Please note:
       a) All rebates under $600 are issued as bill credits.
       b) Bill credits will display on your next electric bill (or, if that is already generated, on the bill after that).  Checks are mailed from Town House - allow up to a month for processing.
       c) If a customer has been in arrears frequently in the past two years, CMLP may, at its own discretion, apply the rebate as a bill credit or allocate it as both a bill credit and check.
