By volunteering with us at Celebrates on Thursday, September 21, you receive a free ticket to our gala, and help us continue to harvest and equitably distribute fresh fruit to Seattle's communities! Pre-event support

Pre-event support at the City Fruit office (4000 Aurora Ave N) includes:
Crafting prep (flexible timeframe from 9-5 during the weeks prior to 10/13).
Guest packet prep (flexible timeframe from 9-5 during the weeks prior to 10/13).
Day-of support (Thurs, October 13th at the Fremont Abbey)
Please indicate if you would like to participate in any of the listed day-of support roles. All roles have their estimated timeframe - longer timeframes will be divided into multiple volunteer shifts.
Day-of-event support includes:
Mobile volunteers - Volunteers with transportation can help us pick up auction and dessert dash items from Seattle area bakeries and small businesses! (Timeframe:Wednesday - all day; Thu morning).
Set-up volunteers - Volunteers move tables, decorate, and set up stations (Timeframe: 3-5:45 pm).
Greeters & door guards - Volunteers welcome guests, check bags/coats, and help guests navigate the venue. This requires a positive energy and people-loving individual! (Timeframe: 5:45-9pm).
Registration and cashier support - Volunteers help guests register and check-out for silent auction. Volunteers that are detail-oriented, tech savvy, and have some experience with data entry desired (Timeframe: 5:45-7:45pm).
Cider pourers - Volunteers help the different cideries run their tasting tables. Volunteers MUST have a bartenders license (Timeframe: 5:15-7:30 pm). City Fruit can reimburse volunteers that complete the online MAST training from LIQUORexam.com.
Paddle spotters - Outgoing volunteers who can shout/wave arms to recognize bidders (Timeframe: 7:15-8:45 pm).
Silent auction - Volunteers set up the silent auction displays, answer questions on silent auction during the cocktail hour, and clean up silent auction (Timeframe: 5:15-7:45 pm).
Clean-up volunteers - Volunteers help the City Fruit team with breakdown and clean-up of the event (Timeframe: 8:30-10:30 pm).
