Teen Youth Programs Y-Disciple and Y-Alpha

STA YDisciple- Teens in 7th, 8th, and 9th

Young Disciples (Y-Disciples) brings teens closer to God and helps them recognize His voice in their lives. Teens are challenged to love, believe, know and serve Christ and the Community.

Y-Disciple is two semesters, Fall Semester and Spring Semester. Each comprised of 10 classes and one Teen Worship Night.

Teens are expected to complete 10 service hours per year. Service hour opportunities will be provided year-round.

STA YAlpha

Youth Alpha is an environment where 10th and 11th graders can have exciting, engaging, and meaningful conversations about the faith. This program is meant for upperclassmen that are seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation and need to complete their last year of preparation. Teens completeing Y-Alpha will be ready for Confirmation in 2023.

Through the community, lessons, and conversations that will take place in Y-Alpha there will be a better understanding of who you are in Christ, where you belong in the church, and what your purpose is.

In addition to the 15 week program, teens are required to attend a Spring Retreat. Y-Alpha is only offered on Thursdays from 7-8:20pm.

Registration Fees for the Teen programs (YD/YA)

Returning families early registration fee includes a discount off until June 10th- $90 per child or $200 for family.

On June 10th Faith Formation will open to all STA parishioners. You will still be able to register at that time at $100 per child or $250 for family.

There is an option to pay in full online with registration. You can also come by the FF office to submit registration form and payment options.

After August 10th all registrations will incur a $25 late fee
