This program is designed to help children in grades 4-6 with expressive writing. The six week program will start with how to write a sentence, and build from there, teaching mind mapping and how to write a paragraph. Tutors will also help students break down different types of paragraphs to understand what is expected. It will be a mix of group work, videos and individual writing.
Who is the program designed for?
This program is ideal for children diagnosed with a Learning Disability and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) who may struggle with expressive writing difficulties. This course does not teach printing or handwriting. A computer is recommended, but children can definitely write on paper. It will be a step by step approach, building each week, so that students gain confidence in their abilities.
