The BSCU re-defines the image of Black youth, promotes the development of cooperative efforts among their schools and communities, and trains and encourages leadership. The BSCU accomplishes its purpose by bringing engaging speakers, producing dynamic and empowering workshops to discuss educational, political, and social concerns, and providing academic, service, and leadership scholarships for members seeking post-secondary education. Annual Junior Membership allows the club advisor access to a wealth of BSCU resources and member-only events throughout the academic year.
