A quick guide to creating your ticket sections and tiers:
When creating your sections, think of the different groups of patrons that you will be catering for and the various levels of access they will require at your event. If you only have one section then you might simply name your section "General Admission". If you have multiple sections, you might use the conventional General Admission, VIP, and VVIP Admission naming structure, or you can use something that is more relatable to your event.
When adding tiers, place the name of the section first such as "Section Name: Tier Name". Here are some examples:
- General Admission: Early Birds
- General Admission: Advance
- General Admission: Gate
If there are no tiers for your section then simply enter the name of the section, for example:
- VIP Admission
- Child Admission
- All Access Pass
Be sure to include the dates that each tier should be available from, and until, right down to the minute. For example, you can set your early birds to end at 11:59pm while your "in-advance" tier will begin the following day at 12:00am
Tip: When creating tiers, be thoughtful about the time of the month and seasonal changes that can affect your patrons and their ability to make purchases for your event.
