Y Style Studio
This contract is the only agreement between person(s) booking/contracting the services of Y Style Studio (hereafter referred to as Client(s) or Bride and Y Style Studio or Artist(s) and staff).
TRIAL MAKEUP SERVICE
The client is entitled to one trial session, intended to assess the client’s skin type, condition, specific needs, and to design the desired look for the event. A second trial may be requested at the standard trial rate. Trials are only offered if a makeup service has already been contracted. Trials are reserved for the bride. If another member of the bridal party requests a trial, standard Wedding Party rates apply. An additional $50/hour will be charged for trial appointments that exceed 2.5 hours for either hair or makeup.
EXCLUSIVITY
Client agrees that Y Style Studio has been hired exclusively to perform the services outlined in this contract. To maintain quality and satisfaction, no other service providers (paid or unpaid) may offer the same or similar services at the contracted event, except for assistants or third parties hired by Y Style Studio.
BOOKINGS
To secure your date, a signed and dated contract is required along with a $500 non-refundable deposit, or 50% of the total if the total is less than $500. This deposit is non-transferable and non-creditable, and will be applied toward your total balance.
Accepted payment methods: Cash / Venmo / PayPal / Zelle / Personal Check / Money Order (in U.S. funds). Checks must be made payable to Yen Tran. Returned checks incur a $50 fee, payable immediately. Remaining balance must then be paid in cash. Please do not send cash via mail.
The full balance is due no later than two weeks prior to the event.
Bookings must include event date, location, and number of services. If you are booking for more than one person, the deposit reserves their appointments as well. Contracts and deposits must be returned within 7 days of receipt. After 7 days, the date remains open and rates are subject to change. Rates are only guaranteed once the signed contract and deposit are submitted.
BOOKING TIMES
The contract will include a start and end timeline. On average:
Bridal Party: 30–60 minutes per service (hair or makeup)
Bride: 60–90 minutes per service (hair or makeup)
Timing may vary depending on complexity or specific client requests. Once the contract is signed, any changes to services, locations, or times are subject to the artist’s discretion.
All individuals receiving services must be available at their scheduled times. No-shows, cancellations, or missed services are still billable and non-refundable.
CANCELLATION
Once services are booked, the deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations made within one week of the wedding date are not eligible for any refund, including the final payment.

EVENT DATE / TIME / LOCATION CHANGE POLICY
Changes to the event date, time, or location will incur a $500 change fee. These must be submitted at least 1 month in advance. A change order must be signed and dated by the client, and any additional fees are due immediately.
TRAVEL FEES & ACCOMMODATIONS
If travel includes bus, airline, rental car, or other extended transportation, the client is responsible for all associated costs. Lodging and transportation must be arranged at least 1 week prior to the event and will be discussed and billed separately.
Parking and valet fees must be paid by the client on the event day.
Personal vehicle travel fees per artist:
$100 (30 minutes or less)
$150 (30 to 90 minutes)
LIABILITY
All makeup tools and products are sanitized between each client. Clients must notify the artist of any known allergies or skin conditions before the appointment. Y Style Studio is not liable for allergic reactions or adverse effects resulting from any product applied during service. Clients assume full responsibility for risks involved if no prior allergy disclosure is made.
MINORS
By signing this agreement, the client gives full consent for any minors included in this booking to receive services under these Terms and Conditions agreement entering with Y Style Studio.
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
In the event of a power outage or similar issue, airbrush makeup and heat-based hair services may be unavailable. In such cases, the artist will proceed using traditional tools. No refunds or credits will be issued for services not performed due to these circumstances.
APPROPRIATE CONDUCT / SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Clients agree to provide a professional and safe work environment for Y Style Studio staff. In any situation involving threats, harassment, or unsafe conditions, Y Style Studio reserves the right to cease all services immediately and leave the event.
A three-strike policy may be enforced. After the third offense, all services will be terminated with no refund and full payment due.Clients also agree to maintain respectful, professional conduct toward artists. Inappropriate or harassing behavior may result in immediate termination of services with no refund.
TERMINATION BY ARTIST DUE TO EXCESSIVE SCHEDULING CONFLICTS OR CLIENT CONDUCT
The Artist reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time prior to the event date if continued planning, scheduling, or communication becomes unreasonably burdensome due to the Client’s actions, including but not limited to:
Excessive or repeated changes to the schedule or service details. Frequent or last-minute modifications to the wedding party size. Repeated or unreasonable requests outside the scope of the original agreement. Failure to provide timely responses or clear communication.
In the event that the Artist deems it necessary to terminate this agreement under these conditions, the Client will be notified in writing (email is acceptable), and a full refund of any deposit or payments made will be issued within 7 business days. No further services or obligations will be provided by the Artist following termination.
This clause is intended to maintain a respectful and professional working relationship and ensure that the Artist can continue to deliver high-quality service to all clients.
USE OF IMAGE
Client agrees that Y Style Studio may use event photos or videos, including any likeness of the client, for marketing purposes (e.g., website, flyers, social media). Y Style Studio will only use content respectfully and in good faith.
By signing this contract, the client agrees to be photographed and filmed by Y Style Studio. Likewise, artists may appear in media captured by the client’s hired photographer/videographer.
