Campus housing is excited to welcome your furr friend to the community. Once you complete this registration form and your dog/cat is approved by the Office of Campus Services, a $200 registration fee will be applied to your student account. Students will also need to maintain renters insurance during their stay in campus housing.

Let's review rules related to having a dog in Norman Village

As an owner/caretaker you are responsible for the actions of your dog/cat at all times and agree to abide by the following rules:
- The owner/caretaker is responsible for ensuring that their dog does not exhibit aggressive behavior or excessively bark so as to disturb the peace of neighboring residents or members of the campus community.
- The owner/caretaker of the dog/cat is responsible for any damage to property or harm to persons caused by the pet.
- When the dog is outside of owner/caretaker of your housing assignment, the dog shall be kept on a leash and under resident's supervision/control at all times.
- The dog shall not be tied to any fixed object on campus, including walkways, stairs, balcony, stairwells, parking lots, grassy areas or any other place within the university.
- The owner/caretaker of the dog/cat will not permit the animal to defecate anywhere on university buildings, including but not limited to patio areas and balconies, walkways, stairwells, parking lots, or any other areas within campus housing. If such should occur, the owner will be responsible for the immediate removal of waste.
- The owner/caretaker shall comply with all local city ordinances. See Tulsa City Code of Ordinances, Title 2, regarding Animals.
- The owner/caretaker of the dog/cat shall not leave the animal unattended for longer than 24 hours.
- Dogs must have a collar that prominently displays a TU Pet Registration Tag.
- The owner/caretaker must maintain City of Tulsa pet license.
My signature below indicates that I have read and understand these rules and any violations of the rules will be resolved through the university conduct process. I further understand that I shall be strictly liable for the entire amount of any injury to the person or property of others, caused by such pet; and residents shall indemnify the University of Tulsa of any and all costs of litigation and attorney's fees resulting from the same.
