  • Disclaimer
Council will determine the contribution required for a specific development in accordance with the Canterbury Bankstown Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan 2022, after assessing the characteristics of the development. The following calculator is available for others to use as a guide at their own discretion and Council does not take any responsibility for the assumptions the calculator applies based on the users input.

The contribution amount should be considered as an indicative estimate only. • 1. Is your development exempt from contributions?

Most developments will pay contributions. However, a small range of developments which satisfy certain requirements may be exempted from contributions by Council.

Review clause 1.3 of the Development Contributions Plan to identify if your development is exempt from contributions. A link to exempt development in clause 1.3 of the Plan is here »

If only part of your development is exempt, you will need to calculate contributions payable for the remaining part which is not exempt.

  • If your development is listed in clause 1.3 as exempt from the plan, development contributions do not apply and you don’t need to continue using the calculator.

A final decision on whether contributions apply is made when your development application is assessed.
