Please know that while being in a rowboat or sailboat involves a certain degree of risk, limiting those risks and ensuring each participant’s safety is our primary concern. All staff are highly trained in both the technical elements of their work and are First Aid and CPR certified. All staff and participants wear life jackets whenever they are on the dock or the water.

By signing this agreement below, you assume the risk of your or your child’s participation.  You agree that you will not seek to hold Rocking the Boat liable in the event that any accident, injury, or loss or damage to property or persons occurs as a result of your child’s participation.  You also release and agree to hold harmless Rocking the Boat, its officers, agents and employees from any claims arising out of your child’s participation in the Program.  You also give your permission to Rocking the Boat to authorize medical care for your child should such care become necessary and expressly waive any and all claims against Rocking the Boat, its officers, agents and employees arising therefrom.

Al firmar este acuerdo a continuación, usted asume el riesgo de su participación o la de su hijo. Usted acepta que no buscará responsabilizar a Rocking the Boat en caso de que ocurra algún accidente, lesión o pérdida o daño a la propiedad o a las personas como resultado de la participación de su hijo. También libera y acepta mantener indemne a Rocking the Boat, sus funcionarios, agentes y empleados de cualquier reclamo que surja de la participación de su hijo en el Programa. También da su permiso a Rocking the Boat para que autorice la atención médica de su hijo en caso de que dicha atención sea necesaria y renuncia expresamente a cualquier reclamación contra Rocking the Boat, sus funcionarios, agentes y empleados que surjan de la misma.
