Role of the Mentor:
- Commit to be a Mentor for 12 consecutive months.
- Commit to making a minimum of 6 contacts with your Mentee.
- Commit to active participation.
- Share information about DMCMA.
- Provide confidential assistance to the Mentee outside of their chain of command.
- Facilitate the Mentee's growth by sharing resources and networks.
- Challenge the Mentee to move outside of his/her (their) comfort zone.
- Foster a positive and honest relationship with your Mentee.
