The Portland Open Singles is:
A bracket, double elimination tournament for all genders and all skill levels conducted on a flexible schedule between mid-July and mid-September. Players will have a set period of time (10-12 days) to complete their match on their own schedule.
○ The final will be played on September 24
○ Draw will be random and will take place on July 17
○ Bracket will be posted online and competitors will be notified via email as to their opponent and timeline for completion
○ The match must be completed prior to the deadline for that round of matches
○ If a match is not contested within the time frame, a coin flip will determine the winner.
Match Format

Matches will be played in Sets (allow for 2 hours to play each match):
Each round will consist of a “Best of Three” series
Games 1 and 2 will have the same game play:

If the same player wins Games 1 and 2, that player wins the match
