NSAC Scholarship Application
Eligible applicants must be graduating from high school in the spring of 2023 or may currently be enrolled as a full-tme student in a college or universty. The applicant requires a sponsor who is a member of the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC), and should express an interest, or has declared a major in a career in accounting or finance. The applicant must be a US citizen and the institution they attend be in the United States. Scholarship funds will be sent to and made payable to the school of choice.
Applications must be submitted online by midnight local time on April 30, 2023. High school or college/university transcripts can be uploaded to the application.
Scholarship applicants will be notified of their application status by June 15, 2023.
1) Complete all sections of the application and submit along with a copy of your transcript on or before the stated deadline.
2) Applications, transcriptsand sponsor eligibility will be verified before sending the submission to the Selection Committee.
3) All eligible applications will be forwarded to the Selection Committee for further review and determination.
Applications will be judged on the following criteria:
- interest in pursuing a career in accounting or finance
- academic
- activities
- written essay
- financial need
Up to ten applicants will be awarded scholarships in 2023.
Eligible applicants can not be in receipt of a full academic or athletic scholarship to the institution in which he/she will be attending.
Award Distribution
-It is each recipient’s responsibility to present written proof of matriculation or current grades in a post-secondary educational institution and a student identification number to NSAC for fund distribution. Funds will be paid directly to the recipient’s post-secondary institution.
