The Fraser River Discovery Centre is located on the traditional territory of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ and Halq̓eméylem speaking peoples. Territory acknowledgement is one small part of Reconciliation. Please take a moment to think of other ways you can participate in Reconciliation with Indigenous communities.

Program Details:
- Currently available to book from September - December 2024
- Minimum 12 students per program
- Maximum 30 students per program
- Program is 70 to 90 minutes (except where noted) and fully guided
- Program materials are provided by the FRDC
- Please provide a projector, adequate space for our 1.9 x 0.8 m river model
- Teachers must be present while instructors are running the session
- As per GenAction funding requirements, students will be asked to complete a short evaluation of the program. Data collected will include student ages.
Program Cost:

For Schools: $225.00 + GST for up to 4 classes (2 classes per day) within the Lower Mainland.

Booking request must be received 3 weeks before* desired program date.

*Please help us coordinate travel to your school district (i.e. flights, driving, accomodations), by booking as early as possible.

This outreach program is available from September - December, 2024.

Programs are offered Tuesday to Friday during your regular hours.

Please book this program for 2 classes per day. As the program's heavy equipment takes time to set up and take down, we will only take bookings for more than one class.

If you would like more than 2 classes to participate, we encourage you to book following consecutive day(s).
