Before we finalise your study group we will ask you to agree to our Statement of Faith, Aim and Ethos and our Foundation Group agreement (see below).
Foundation Group Agreement
Crosslands makes the assurances in this agreement with a view to maintaining long-term, warm collaborations with Foundation Groups. We want to develop a sustainable partnership model that, under God, will allow our materials to be a blessing to his Church over a lengthy period.
a. Leaders agree to conduct operations in a manner consistent with the stated mission and values of Crosslands and its brand.
b. Leaders commit to contributing generously to Crosslands and its courses through building relationships, seeking partnership with other Study Groups to share best practice, particularly with pioneer sites in missional contexts.
c. Leaders can set student fees based on additional and reasonable costs incurred to run the course. All churches or organisations are responsible for their own administration and advertising of Crosslands courses.
d. Leaders agree to abide by the copyright rules and not reproduce materials without written permission.
e. Leaders will be responsible for supporting and caring for their students by providing adequate student support through tutoring or mentoring, and by ensuring that the host church or organisation is covered by the necessary liability insurance. Crosslands will not be held responsible for any damages or claims made against Foundation Groups or their host churches/organisations.
f. Leaders commit to attending or undertaking or contributing to any training for Foundation Group leaders that Crosslands deems necessary.
g. Leaders agree to the theological and doctrinal position set forth by Crosslands, and will ensure that all speakers and tutors also fall in line with Crosslands' theological position, as outlined by the Statement of Faith and Ethos Policy.
