  • ADMISSIONS INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

Admissions questions help us understand your reasons and readiness to achieve your degree at ELTU.
  • Admission Question #1

At ELTU, we believe there are six factors students should consider in successfully completing an educational program with us.

    These are:

    1. Emotional Maturity
    2. Anxiety Levels
    3. God's Love as Priority
    4. Independent Learning Style
    5. Time Management
    6. Relevance to Your Purpose

Successful achievement of your desired ELTU program will take these six factors working in tandem with each other, so our admissions process requires a brief written response to the following questions.

You may complete these questions in one sitting or hit "Save" and return later to complete the questions. It should only take about 5 to 6 minutes to answer; there is no right or wrong answer. Each question helps us understand your reasons and readiness to achieve your learning degree program at ELTU.

  • Admission Question #2

    Luke 14:28 (KJV) says:
"For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth up the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?"

  • Leveling Up - Admission Question #3

Many individuals go to college and even seminary only to end up with degrees that are meaningless. They never make the paper mean anything. An ELTU student is called to manifest something different - Greatness! Our greatness has already been proclaimed in the heavens. We must be proactive about how we walk it out. Greatness doesn't happen by accident. We are intentional. At ELTU, students use self-directed self-paced learning to become more intentional.

In each course, students develop their leadership, coaching, and change management skills by completing the following course requirements:

    • Read the course textbook and summarize what you read in a course paper in less than 8 weeks.
    • Conduct up to two live coaching sessions a month with a person(s) being coached.
    • Reflect and post responses to (1) coaching question on your Instructor's Weekly Discussion Forum.

As you apply the principles and practices you learn to daily life, we believe the Holy Spirit leads you towards transformation and greatness opportunities for yourself and others. The textbooks, assessments, coaching questions, coursework support, and personalized feedback provided by your ELTU Instructor as Coach or Mentor is designed to help you navigate with a clear view and minimize obstructions on your God-given paths toward greatness. ELTU is designed to enhance and support a personal, professional, and spiritual growth journey so that you can learn, live, love, and level up your life using Christ-Centered Coaching, Leadership, and change skills.

This is what we mean when we say "Leveling Up."

    ADMISSIONS CONSIDERATIONS

All prospective students should consider the following in applying to ELTU programs or seminars:

    1)     Students must be able to apply and meet admissions requirements.

    2)     ELTU programs require access to the Internet and students must have access to computers and equipment. Our School does not provide these resources and we have no way to address computer access needs and Internet service inside or outside the United States. Our School is perfect for students who have their own access to Internet technology, equipment, and supplies. Students purchase books online at public bookstores and access the Internet so they can attend classes online. ELTU has no way of sponsoring a student’s technology service needs, equipment, books, and supplies needed to complete studies.

    3)     ELTU receives no financial support from government agencies. So, the school does not offer government grants, public funding, or government sponsored scholarships. ELTU is offering scholarship assistance in the form of low-cost tuition for a limited time only until 12-31-2023. Scholarship students are required to pay for their own books, supplies, and computer resources.

    4)     ELTU would love to consider the same scholarship assistance for any eligible student outside of the U.S. as has been offered to students inside the U.S. This scholarship assistance is available to students who meet the requirements and apply before 12-31-2023.

    5)     All students are advised to consider the kind of school, programs, and educational training being offered at ELTU, and understand the difference between our school and public education. Our school is approved and regulated by the state of Texas Workforce Commission Division of Career Schools and Colleges as a private faith-based school. Our school can make no offers to meet any requirements and/or sponsorship that students may need for acceptance by federal, state, or local government agencies or private organizations. We do not make any assurances that your education at ELTU will meet requirements for any entity, service, or organization, including but not limited to those public or private businesses or educational entities inside or outside of the United States or other countries. ELTU is not affiliated with the United States Department of Education, so if a student is expecting that an ELTU Degree might meet certain bodies of credentialing or accreditation expectations, then that would not be the case.

    6)     There is a difference between public and private religious-exempt schools. ELTU is regulated and fully approved to operate its degrees, seminars, and courses through Texas Workforce Commission Careers & Colleges Division. ELTU is offered to enhance and maximize a student’s interest in their personal, professional, or spiritual journey, and is not regulated or accredited by the United States Department of Education. Accreditation is not required by the U.S. Department of Education.

    7)     ELTU’s degree programs are entirely religious in nature and fall within the exception for legal authorization in Title 19 Subchapter A Texas Administrative Code § 7.9. ELTU is recognized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) as a bona fide religious postsecondary educational institution exempt under this Code and is permitted to offer religious degrees under this exemption. This means that ELTU programs and seminars are not designed for licensing through any licensure, certification, accreditation, or other professional occupational requirements.

    8)     Transferability of credits earned at ELTU may be limited. This means students may not be able to transfer credits to other institutions. ELTU is designed for leadership and development of a personal, professional, or spiritual nature. Classes are designed to enhance student interests in personal, professional, spiritual development, executive leadership development, human capital leadership, ministry, chaplaincy, spiritual care, and/or coaching inside or outside of a professional capacity and setting.
