We are committed to representing, and empowering people who have not been able to reach across the continents to showcase their talent in music, fashion, cinema, and business.

By submitting your work, you have the opportunity to be seen and Artist DO NOT have to attend to be promoted by BAAADU in our global markets. We will still promote and spotlight the artist through our social media avenues and marketing.

Submission fees are $200.00 USD. The fees includes:

• Joining the BAAADU Roster. Once you have completed the submission process you will be added to our roster of Artists. The roster is used to gather talent for other events BAAADU is either hosting or participating in as a collaborating partner. 

• Social Media Promos which carry access to a worldwide audience. You'll be seen on our Website, Facebook, and Instagram sites. We in a global company with connections in Africa and the EU.

• Our event participants are established in various industries such as Music, Fashion, and Film which opens up the potential for you to be considered for various new opportunities.

• Branding. Getting your brand to the public can be extremely expensive, BAAADU is a solution to providing a longer reach to a wider audience without changing who you are. Your brand represents you and your connection to the audience. You've worked hard for your identity through the creative process, BAAADU understands and supports the individuality of the Artist that submits their work. 

RULES FOR FASHION & ART SUBMISSION

FEE: $200 per submission

ENTRIES CLOSE: 15 October 2023

FESTIVAL NIGHT: 11 November 2023

Artists must adhere to all of the following rules:

- Registration and music submittance must be completed by midnight 15 October 2023
- Your music does not need to be made specifically for the BAAADU Festival and it can be past works.
- Entry fee is $200 per entry
- Please ensure you have read and signed off on all terms and conditions.

Submitting Your Entry​

Your entry will NOT be accepted if:
- Any of the above items are not included (including entry fee).
- You have not completed or only partially completed our online entry form.
- You have not agreed to the Terms and Conditions.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. SUBMITTING CONTENT

BAAADU Festival will use the term "content" to mean and refer to any and all content, videos, films, media, artwork, fashion designs, captures and all other materials, such as publicity stills or other supporting content you submit to us.

Each time you submit your content, you will be confirming your acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, all the terms and conditions of BAAADU Festival’s Terms of Use, including, without limitation, this Agreement.

To be considered for the BAAADU Festival, your content must meet all the specifications and requirements relating to formatting, compatibility, operating characteristics and submission. Your content must meet BAAADU Festival’s Content Requirements.

We will not be responsible for lost, damaged, misdirected, unusable or unreadable content.

 2. AGE REQUIREMENTS

There are no age restrictions or requirements for the festival. If you are considered a minor where you live (generally under 18 years of age) and you submit content for selection in the BAAADU Festival, you are confirming that you have received your parent’s/guardian’s express consent to do so and that your parent/guardian (i) has read and, on your behalf, agrees to be bound by this agreement; and (ii) understands, agrees and shall be fully responsible for your submission.

 3. CONTENT REQUIREMENTS

You are solely responsible and liable for the content you submit (and the consequences thereof) made under your name, user name, e-mail address, password, and your registration or profile information. The content does not reflect the views of the BAAADU Festival. The Festival reserves the right, at any time, without notice and without limiting any and all other rights we may have under this Agreement, at law or in equity, to remove and delete your entry to the BAAADU Festival. You agree that you will not submit any content that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually, racially, culturally, or ethnically offensive, harassing, intimidating, threatening, hateful, discriminatory or abusive. You also agree you will not submit any content for commercial or business purposes because it may adversely affect BAAADU’s Festival’s ability to gain support from third parties which assist the BAAADU Festival and website to continue. BAAADU Festival reserves the right to delete or reject any content that in its sole discretion deems abusive, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, in violation of copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights. BAAADU Festival reserves the right to remove and take down your content without notice if any content is in violation of any of the terms or conditions of this Agreement. If it receives notice of any claim of infringement that satisfies specific legal requirements, it may remove content associated with such claims and will notify you if your content is removed. In regards to intellectual property, you are fully responsible for the clearance of any music, sound, images or graphics contained in your entry. If any record company or music publisher contacts us about an entry’s music rights, we will refer that company to you so be sure to obtain all the appropriate clearances beforehand.

 4. COPYRIGHT; CONTENT REQUIREMENT VIOLATIONS; BREACH OF AGREEMENT

If you believe any content shown at the BAAADU Festival violates the copyright of any other party or violates the terms of this Agreement or in any other way infringes upon the rights of others, you can notify us via the online contact form.

 5. RIGHTS GRANTED TO BAAADU FESTIVAL

In connection with the content you submit to us for consideration in the and associated video casts, you are authorizing BAAADU Festival the right to view your content for judging and then showcasing your artwork or fashion designs at the awards night if you are in the top ten finalists. This includes publishing the artwork or fashion designs to the BAAADU Festival website and Facebook page if you have selected the option on the entry form. The rights described in this agreement are granted to commence immediately upon submission of content to and continue indefinitely. Note that BAAADU Festival holds non-exclusive rights to your artwork or fashion designs and that you are permitted to have your artwork or fashion designs entered into other festivals while it is an entrant in the BAAADU Festival.  After the awards night, all artwork or fashion designs who selected to have their artwork or fashion designs published onto the festival website, will have their artwork or fashion designs published onto the website and possibly Facebook. You may write to us at any time and request the removal of your artwork or fashion designs, whereupon we will remove your content from our website and all associated distribution within 3 working days.

BAAADU Festival has the right to include your artwork or fashion designs or parts of your artwork or fashion designs in its promotional activities. This may include, but is not limited to, the creation of show reels and advertisements promoting the BAAADU Festival, physical screenings, viral campaigns, presentations and product pitches.

6. OWNERSHIP

BAAADU Festival does not claim any ownership rights of the content that you submit to us. You retain all rights, title and interest in and to BAAADU Festival, including, but not limited to all associated intellectual property and proprietary rights existing anywhere in the world and you acquire no ownership, proprietary or other rights, title or interest in or to the BAAADU Festival, any software or other information or materials we provide or make available to you. BAAADU Festival will not be liable for malfunctions, loss of data, damage to hardware, programs or devices resulting from use of any software or interaction with us. You must use your own programs and firewalls to scan all software, to prevent intrusion, viruses, other malicious code and damage. BAAADU Festival is not responsible for any damage if you fail or are unable to do so.

You must own the rights to the content you submit and each element of the content you submit and the right to grant all of the authorizations, rights and licenses described in this Agreement. If you do not exclusively own all of these rights, you must have all necessary authorizations, permissions, approvals, consents, rights and licenses from the owner(s) to enter into this agreement, perform and comply with all of its obligations.

 7. INDEMNIFICATION

Your indemnification obligations under the Terms of Use include any third party claims arising from or caused by your content, the submission of your content, BAAADU Festival’s use of your content consistent with the rights granted to by this agreement and/or any use you may make of the service.

 8. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Your use of BAAADU Festival is at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your content, the representations and obligations under this agreement and for any damages to your computer system or loss of data resulting from your use of the service.

Disclaims all liability for any use not specifically authorized or that is in violation of this agreement or the laws or regulations that may apply to you in any jurisdiction or country. Expressly disclaims all liability for any and all damages, whether direct, consequential, special, indirect, exemplary or punitive damages, howsoever arising or caused, whether foreseeable or not, regardless of the form of action or the basis or characterization of the claim and even if advised of the possibility of damages.

 9. GENERAL

This Agreement, together with our Terms of Use, is the entire agreement between you and relating to your submission of content for use in at BAAADU Festival and the subject matter of this agreement supersedes any prior or inconsistent agreements may terminate this agreement with you, your registration and your right to use BAAADU Festival at any time without notice to you.

 10. FEES

Submission fees are non-refundable, no exceptions.
