What type of Board tasks do you prefer (fundraising, written communications, event planning, etc.)?
The MCFAPA Board might take on special projects to assist in our initiatives. Please let us know if you have any specific project ideas you would like to propose:
Have you ever been engaged in any specific fundraising efforts? If so with whom, how, and what was the amount raised? Are you comfortable playing an active role in assisting MCFAPA with fundraising efforts?

Marketing & Fundraising Speaking at community events (TIPS training, local events, etc.) Assisting at The Den (MCFAPA's essentials closet at DHR) Assisting with monthly trainings, including booking speakers Grant writing Event Planning (Bros & Bows, Christmas Party, quarterly events, etc.)
How much time would you have to dedicate to MCFAPA (a week, a month, etc.)?
The MCFAPA Board of Directors is a working board but very rewarding. Board members are required to participate in a minimum of 4 board meetings/calls per year as well as attend and assist at monthly MCFAPA-led training meetings, our annual "Bros & Bows" event, annual Christmas Party, and other possible events throughout the year. Board members are expected to be timely and present at each meeting with a maximum of two absences from board meetings.

Hours of commitment, beween meetings and events, would probably average around 3-4 hours per month. Board members are also encouraged to participate in fundraising activities, which includes securing at least $500 per year in monetary donations (can be a personal gift or secured through sponsorships or donation drives). Board members are expected to commit to the role for a minimum of to (2) years.
