SITE RULES AND TRAFFIC MOVEMENTS

Site rules are there to ensure that all employees, contractors, and visitors can use the site and leave without being injured. All contractors and visitors must sign the visitor's book in the weighbridge office on entering the site.
The site rules are as follows:
1) On entry ensure all loads are securely netted/sheeted.
2)Be alert to the health and safety of all, and wear the correct safety clothing, including high visibility vest, pants, jackets, safety footwear with steel toe caps and midsole protection, gloves, safety helmet and ear protection SNR27 or up to SNR30
3) Ear protection must be worn by all contractors and visitors entering Fastsource yard when crushing and screening are in process. If any drivers dis-mount their vehicle, then ear protection must be worn. Ear protection must be SNR 27 or up to SNR30. If anytime drivers, contractors or visitors don't have ear protection then Fastsource have ear protection on site in the weighbridge office. You must sign confirming receipt of ear plugs and understand how to fit correctly.
4) Mobile Phones must not be used whilst operating or driving vehicles on this site.
5) Do not smoke, eat, or drink within the waste processing areas. A hygiene regime is maintained for your safety.
6) Stop on the weighbridge and report to the site weighbridge office.
7) Ensure Waste Transfer Notes and other relevant paperwork is completed for your aggregate materials and handed to site staff before unloading aggregate materials.
8) Weigh your vehicles both before and after depositing your materials.
9) Obey all instructions given by site control personnel.
10) Travel only on recognised routing systems and obey all traffic signs and speed limits 5 M.P.H., be aware of speed bumps and maneuvering plant machinery in the treatment station area.
11) Discharge loads only in the correct stockpile and in the manner directed by the code of practice and permit to work.
12) Ensure isolation of the loading zone, ensure the vicinity is clear of non-PPE-protected personnel during all loading and unloaded operations.
13) Sorting over and removal of items from this site will be regarded as theft and offenders will be dealt with as such.
14) Inform site staff of any accident/spillage or possible hazardous waste contamination in your load.
15) Good conduct is expected of all users/visitors, threatening or abusive behavior towards staff will not be tolerated.
16) Anyone failing to comply with these site rules will be stopped from using the site until they are able to fully meet the requirements.
17) Before leaving site check your vehicle is safe for the highway, no loose load content, no punctures, no stones trapped between tandem wheels.
18) Ensure all vehicles travel no more than 10 M.P.H when traveling past the Esseco chemical plant and JHM garage.
Please note, health and safety is everyone's responsibility if at any time you have an accident to your person or vehicle whilst using our site No matter how minor you must report it immediately to the site manager/staff and fill in the accident book located in the weighbridge.
