This camp is run by Ian Cordwell, England Hockey Level 4 coach, previous Head Coach TBBHC Talent Academy, TBB Men’s 1st XI Coach and University of Bath Head Performance Coach

Spotters High Performing Camp will run on 30 October and 22 December 2025 and are suitable for ages 13/14 -18 (we are flexible based on playing level and ability).
This camp is a recognised open referral route for the EHB Talent Academy player pathway.
Players will work in small groups to maximise coach engagement time, touches of the ball and playing time.
Players will need a hockey stick, shin pads and a gum shield to participate and any other protection that is preferred by the player.
video feedback may be utilised - please sign the code of conduct for accessing this when it is sent with the joining instructions.
We also cater for GKs providing specialist coaching as part of the programme and then providing a high level of competitive hockey for in goal experience.
Please bring a still drink and snacks/packed lunch.
Coaching will go ahead in most weathers so please come prepared to suit the weather at the time of the sessions booked.
Spotters Hockey HPC provides the perfect preparation for assessment at an EHB Talent Academy.

The Spotters Hockey High Performing Camp runs from 10am -3pm with an hour for lunch.

Pricing

Outfield Players

Prices are £68 per day for outfield players

Goal Keepers

Prices are £80 for one day, where we have a specialised GK coach in attendance, £68 otherwise - we will provide coaching to enhance progression whether or not we have a specialist GK coach as all our coaches are able to provide GK coaching. We will confirm which price is applicable when responding to your booking.

NB Coaching and Camp sessions will run provided UK government rules allow; sufficient bookings received and pitch space is confirmed. Not all sessions may run. Pitch allocations may alter. Adverse weather conditions may necessitate rearrangement of the session date.

Please note that we will be following England Hockey COVID19 Safety measures and anyone attending our sessions must abide by the following:

Self-Assessment Check - This check should be done before each hockey session and participants should declare they are symptom free and haven’t been in contact with anyone with suspected or confirmed Covid symptoms within the past 2 weeks.

Whilst at the Camp

- Clean your hands during breaks;

- do not share equipment;

- Follow the facility rules and UK government guidelines.

Please note that hockey is unpredictable and whilst every care is taken, no liability for injury sustained whilst attending our sessions, will be taken and all sessions are attended at your own risk. No refunds can be made but where possible an alternative session may be attended with a small admin fee to cover costs of rebooking; this is subject to re selling the space.
