Gulf California Broadcast Company (owners of KESQ News Channel 3 and five other broadcast properties) and the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation present the Coachella Valley Spotlight, an award that highlights the good work of local nonprofit organizations providing services to the area.
The News Channel 3 Advisory Board will select twelve organizations to receive media coverage about their missions and goals, which will be shared across a variety of Gulf California Broadcast Company platforms during a predetermined month in 2023. Each featured organization will also receive a $25,000 grant from the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation.
For your organization to be considered for the Coachella Valley Spotlight, please complete and submit the following application in its entirety along with the supporting documents and video submission described below by Noon on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations based in the Coachella Valley that serve the area’s needs and did not receive the grant in 2022 are eligible to apply.
The following grant application is NOT a savable form. It is recommended that applicants finalize replies to the following questions in a separate word processing document; save in that format for your records; and then, when ready to submit, copy and paste answers into this form. Applications must be submitted electronically. In addition to the application form, each organization must submit: IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter, most recent 990 tax return and current annual budget.
