Culp Tabletop Advertising
This form is primarily for student organizations, allowing them to reserve advertising space displayed in the Culp tabletop signs throughout the Culp Center lobby spaces. If no student organizations have placed a request, we can allow college departments and offices to advertise. Reservations can be made for a 2 week period only (renewable one time if no other requests have been made). Card inserts must be 5 x 7 in. in landscape orientation (horizontal). The SAO office will print the ads for student organizations. Campus offices and departments must print their own ads. The SAO office will place the ads in the display stands. Table cards will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. However, new reservations will be given priority over groups who have reserved display areas previously. The contact person named above will be notified of the approval status after receipt of this request. Reservations are made at the discretion of the SAO Staff to best serve all student organizations. Reservations should be made no more than 2 months in advance of the date needed. Below, you must agree that you understand that failure to abide by these policies will result in your group being denied use of these services for one full semester. SAO student workers will print your designs and place them in the tabletop signs.
Display Policies
Displays must comply with TBR Policy 3:01:01:00 Organizations and Policy 3:02:00:01 General Regulations on Student Conduct. Displays must not: have illegal aims and goals; propose activities which would violate regulations of the Board or the institution or school, or federal or state laws and regulations, or materially and substantially disrupt the work and discipline of the institution or school; or advocate incitement of imminent lawless action which is likely to produce such action. Furthermore, public displays which an average person applying contemporary community standards would find, taken as a whole, appeals to the prurient interest, depicts or describes sexual conduct in a patently offensive way, and taken as a whole, lacks serious literary, artistic, political or scientific value are prohibited.
