Our communities are in crisis and there is no one set solution to this problem. Everyone’s situation is different, you may help hold the key to their recovery! Community Pay It Forward and the pACT Channel are building up to an event that we are calling Rediscover the Happy Place, which will be held on August 15th, 2022. We want to come together with others who are coaches, consultants, counselors, alternative medicine practitioners and others who want to make a difference and spark the conversation! YOUR program or treatment plan might be what someone is seeking to help them restructure, re-balance and rebuild from things like depression, PTSD, bullying, domestic violence, eating disorders and substance use disorders.
If you are interested in being a part of this event, we ask that you please fill out our questionnaire and choose a time to set up a one-on-one interview with one of our staff to discuss your program, your modalities and your outcomes. We want to ensure that we are presenting multiple options for people to find their “key” to coming back to what happiness is for them! We would then ask that you join us on August 15th, 2022 for a round-table style discussion where we will discuss all sorts of different topics from medication to alternative treatments, age-appropriate treatments and much more. We want to fill each seat at the table with open, honest, and conflict-free discussion that will benefit all with the mutual understanding that treating mental health concerns is not a one-size-fits all sort of issue. We are inviting you to bring the facts, the strengths, the weaknesses and the outcomes of your program and be one of those who is willing to spark the conversation! The round table topics will include but not limited to:
• Addiction and Substance Use Disorders
• Warning signs of struggle (for yourself and others)
• Veteran and Active Duty Mental Health
• Depression signs in Children and Teens
• LGBTQAI+ and other often bullied groups
• Issues facing our differently-abled community
• Treatment and Care Options for EVERYONE
• What to do if someone you know is in crisis
• How to spark the conversation with others
What do you need to talk about?
